Free to be healthy

“As we get better at understanding how little we know about the body, we begin to realize that the next big frontier … in medicine is energy medicine. It’s not the mechanistic part of the joints moving. It’s not the chemistry of our body. It’s understanding for the first time how energy influences how we feel.” ~ Dr. Mehmet Oz

By developing the ability to listen to and access the information stored in your body, you can let go of what’s holding you back from living your true potential and fullest life possible.

Our bodies are designed to maintain optimal health! But not all of us are healthy. Every time we have a health problem, we should be asking, “What stress is causing this problem and how can I eliminate it?”

Numerous health experts say that the number one killer on the planet is stress. Most physical and nonphysical health problems have long-term, physiological stress as their origin. In fact, the Centers for Disease Control estimate that 80% of all health care dollars are spent on illnesses related to stress.

“When you are under stress, you lose intelligence and your immune system shuts down.” (Dr. B. Lipton)

Further research has demonstrated that if the body stays in a state of physiological stress long enough, illness and disease are likely to follow, creating as much as 95% of disease and illness. Our stressful lifestyles are the reason we are getting sicker as a population.

All Memories Are Energy Stored and Recalled as Images, and 90% of Them Are Unconscious.

Think of your computer hard drive and all that is stored there. I know I’ve got stuff in there that I’ve totally forgotten about and don’t even know is there, but it’s recorded and could be retrieved with the proper methods. Like our hard drive our own memories are stored, but most are unconscious or subconscious. Loyd and Johnson say, “The latest research seems to indicate that these memories are stored in our cells, literally all over our bodies. These memories are not flesh and blood; they are stored in our cells as an energy pattern.” They go on to say that all data, everything that happens to us, is encoded inthe form of cellular memories. Nothing we experience escapes being imprinted into our Cellular Hologram in the form of a cell memory. Some of them contain destructive or inaccurate beliefs that cause the body’s stress response to be activated when it shouldn’t, which turns off the immune system and causes literally every problem in our livesthat we know of. The substance of these cellular memories is a destructive energy pattern in the body.

As put so eloquently by Alice Miller:

“The truth about our childhood is stored up in our body, and although we can repress it we can never alter it. Our intellect can be deceived, our feelings manipulated, our perceptions confused, and our body tricked with medication. But someday the body will present its bill, for it is as incorruptible as a child who, still whole in spirit, will accept no compromises or excuses, and it will not stop tormenting us until we stop evading the truth.”

Conscious non-judgemental (loving) attention and acceptancecan activate powerful healing centers that can allow the body to heal itself of almost anything. Every wounded part can reveal the story, the heart matters, the unspoken or repressed. It is not the expression of the emotions that is relevant, it is owning them, being present to them. Not because they are “your” emotions, but because they are happening in you “now”. And when you accept fully what is happening in the now, it passes through you; it doesn’t get stuck. By opening up, observing, expressing and embracing, the stress from the body is removed, thus allowing the neuro-immune system to take over its job of healing and freeing the body’s healthy flow.

Awareness transforms – it is the major instrument for change, yet at the same time, it wants to change nothing. Awareness says, “Yes – yes to what is!” It is receptive and accepting of all that is there, and this changes everything, because it sets you free.

Unhealthy/Transforming beliefs

Dr. Bruce Lipton, cellular biologist at Stanford University said in his research that the thing that causes illness and disease is stress. And the thing that always causes stress is a wrong belief/resistance to what is. All that we don’t want to see, all that we try to deny, suppress or reppress or argue with or what we believe should/n’t be however neccessary it may be, causes stress. The wrong beliefs are embedded in our mind and cellular memories. Dr. Lipton goes on to say that if you can heal that wrong belief, the stress goes away and the immune system in the body can heal everything even genetic illnesses and disease.

Even if the story surround the wound is mostly irrelevant, bringing light onto the cause can be the catalyst for great transformation. The child created a self image based on very important assumptions and decisions following what was going on then. Getting to know the neuropathway of the experience is the beginning, but it is not enough to de-activate the pattern. After reading the chain of beliefs backwards a few times to bring awareness, we may ask some questions like: Do you recognize this pattern? Is it familiar to you? How do you see it being active in your life? Where is this coming from? Where did you learn it? What is the earliest memory you have of having it? Is there anything that led you to believe this? Who was involved in this experience? What do you believe here? “This shouldn’t be happening? It is!” As the file starts opening, we will find what unconscious assumptions that person made inside her mind at that early age (or the present moment) so  we can see through our story made up in our mind about the situation instead of being present to what is happening and responding from our heart center.

When you heal the wrong belief you also heal the thing that is blocking the success and prosperity in life. Why? Because stress drains your energy and it dumbs you down and it causes you to come at everything from a negative perspective. Well, how in the world are you going to be successful when you can’t think straight, you don’t have any energy and you’re coming at everything from a negative perspective?  Every negative thing flows from fear (not facing the fear causes us to set the fight-flight-freeze mechanism, we worry, feel anxious and can’t sleep etc). Fear indicates “something’s not true here”, asking us to unravel it.

This wrong belief, according to Dr. Lipton’s research, causes us to be afraid when we should not be afraid. So what else comes from fear? Anger, sadness, depression, manipulation, dishonesty, every crime that is ever committed, as well as fear of success, fear of failure, fear of  other things. So this category can absolutely change your life.

Some of the unhealthy beliefs are: “I’m unlovable.  I’m insignificant.  I’m flawed.  I’m hopeless.  I’m worthless. I should do more. Something bad is going to happen.  Something must change right now for me to be okay.  People are going to take advantage of me.  I am bad.  I’m not good enough.  I’m unforgivable.  People are out to get me.  I must be in control.  It’s not fair.  People must think well of me for me to be okay.  I can’t do it.  I’m not capable.  Others should do it for me.”  Those wrong beliefs create stress that causes every problem that we have: illness and disease, failure, lack of finances, poor relationships, you name it. And because we carry the energy of such unconscious beliefs, our bodies slowly start to get into squeezing shapes and  internal organs can record and absorb the energy, emotion and stress associated with it, lacking life-energy and nourishment. This can set off a psychosomatic reaction every time something in life reminds the subconscious of the original stressor. If your system gets overloaded by multiple traumas it can lead to Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Or we find ways to override these symptoms choosing to be under constant stress and tention, our life gets heavy, we lack joy and settle for surviving, maybe searching for medical treatement, hoping it won’t get worse (down-road spiral- when it actually might).

However, these cases are just trying to get our attention, asking us to liberate them, to bring clarity and space around it, leading us to truth and embracement of life as a comfirmation of ‘living- life- energy’, as we are such,  and enjoy life with ease.

The first step to healing is to develop an awareness of the psycho-emotional connection to your body. Knowledge is a vehicle that sets healing in motion and allows you to start consciously letting go. This creates a clearing for transformation of past issues and a more optimum state of well-being.

Once we find the origin and the unconscious connections that support the beliefs, we ask some questions to verify if we want to keep believing it or to let go of it:

Is this belief true? Is it real? Is it something I would teach to a child as a teaching for life?

How do I feel when I believe it?

Does anyone benefit from it? Real, genuine benefit?

What would my life be like if I no longer carried these beliefs? What would my words or actions be like if I let the beliefs go? Who would I be without that thought?

The more we live our lives from a false place, the less real and authentic life we have.

Every known behavioral pattern, habit, addiction and compulsion follows this neural-energy pattern, and the repetition of these patterns creates an electromagnetic resonance in us. A resonance is an unconscious pattern that manifests outwardly the same reality with which it corresponds internally. If we repeatedly use the same thought patterns every day, those inner relationships are strengthened and the same emotional reactions are produced over and over again. As a consequence, we attract in the outside world those frequencies with which we internally resonate. Through the repetition of the same patterns, a self-image is created in response to the physical or emotional injuries we have suffered in the past. What we must realize is that it is simply an image; it isn’t, hasn’t ever been and won’t ever be real. Other names used to describe this same concept are ego, false personality, false self, or mask. This self-image is composed of numerous beliefs that control us and that we mistake for reality. We ultimately judge what we carry inside of us but scares us.

Let’s look at some of the positive beliefs.  I am lovable.  I am significant.  I’m whole.  I’m a person of worth regardless of my circumstances or what anybody else thinks.  I have unbounded hope for the future.  Wonderful things are in store for me.  My future is not tied to the past.  I am free.  I am always okay.  Even though I’m always learning, growing and getting better, I am satisfied and content right now.  I love everyone.  Everyone is different, but all have worth and value.  I will receive all good things by surrendering to love and truth.  I can lay down control. I don’t have to try to be someone I’m not in order to be loved.  I will believe and live the truth of who I am.  I am capable.  I can do it.  I don’t have to get others to do it for me.  I have a say over my life. I AM GOOD ENOUGH. Life supports me. I AM powerful beyond measure, beautiful beyond words, and truly an extraordinary being who has access to unlimited love, creativity and pleasure! And so be it!

Which of these beliefs would you rather hold? How would you rather live? Well, that is why we want to heal those destructive beliefs, and to infuse the healthy ones.

The fact is that YOU are worth it!  When you look at yourself in the mirror what you see is seeing you. Maybe not always clearly, yet we can only see aspects of our self. Our entire self is too huge, too amazing, and magnificent to digest in just one sitting. It’s like you can look back at your day and remember most of what happened, yet try and look back on your entire life (and even past lifetimes) and digest everything in the same detailed manner. You are much bigger than the mind can conceive.

To start feeling a fraction of just how amazing you truly are, begin with letting go of any limiting beliefs that arise about yourself.  If you think you’re too nice, too old, too fat, too ugly, too poor…these are old boring stories and excuses. In truth, they are just tiny electrons passing through the brain making you believe you’re in some prison. Realize these are all just thoughts passing through your consciousness in each moment. You can choose to pay attention to the good ones or the bad ones. It’s totally up to you.

“If there is no willingness, there is no asking.

If there is no asking, there is no surrender.

If there is no surrender, there exists a barrier to the infinite possibilities.”

You can easily break free from any negative or limiting beliefs running around in your mind by surrendering to loving you!  Trust in the feeling of love. Believe that love is the way. Notice how it feels to be a bit more gentle and kind with yourself. What does it feel like to accept all of your parts? Real love is unconditional. It has no reason why it loves, it just constantly sends out gentle energy, working its magic in healing all parts of you every time! There is nothing more powerful and transformational than love sweet love.

Love, love, love, that is the soul of genius.” ~ Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart

The power of your own intention is your greatest ally or obstacle in allowing real healing to happen. When there is surrender, there is a setting aside of ego and agenda. What is left is deep listening; not the common form of listening through your ears, but a “sensory awareness” deep within your own source. There have been many labels attempting to describe this “awareness” – intuition, Holy Spirit, Consciousness, Presence, Oneness, The Unmanifest – it doesn’t really matter what you label it. What is certain to allow that to come forth and guide the process is to bring awareness to your life and open yourself to inner freedom and healing that has always been available to you.

The most important element is “taking responsibility” for your life after the session is complete. You accept your life as it is with intention to shift it in a way that supports and resonates with your authentic self. The key to realizing this is through the power of being present to your life. This power lies deep within the Cellular Memory and has always been there and will never leave. It can heal and transform anything.

You can always return to the “exit”, Consciousness, back to the peace, by not fighting with yourself. Observe what is there, and make no mistake: not to be drawn in is a great strength. That is the power of true spirituality. True spirituality is not morality – it is a way of being.

And remember, there is nothing you can do to make a wrong turn in life. Everything is part of your destiny. On an infinite highway where everything is connected, all lanes eventually reach the same infinite destination. You cannot mess up your life. It is perfectly imperfect just as it is. It contains all the bittersweet and sour elements needed to release your tight grip inside yourself, relax deeply and find out that you are powerful, beautiful and truly extraordinary.

The more I fill myself with Light
The more the darkness surfaces
Shadows escaping
To be cleansed and released.

These are not reflections of another
But my buried pain
Needing to be totally felt
Completely embraced…

On my way back to wholeness.

~ Sidonie Bouchet

Each soul has been created in beauty and goodness.

To know this is to feel self-love.
